Black Pepper - Coagulant, clots the blood, Literally sprinkle heavy on open cut or wound to stop bleeding. If applying pressure and black pepper does not stop bleeding effectively in a reasonable period of time, the wound may be to deep and require medical attention. Attempt restricting or tourniquet to stop bleeding. Keep wound clean and dry. Once the blood dries, the black pepper will powder off. Black pepper is an antiseptic, so if the wound has dirt, attempt to cleanse with water and then apply black pepper powder heavy and allow it to work. For Diabetics; the black pepper may not be heavy and thick enough, so use unscented baby powders. I recommend keeping a travel size box for this reason.
